Your Missionaries to Mongolia

"Hand in Hand - Serving Together"

Why Mongolia?

When I was 8 years old I surrendered to full-time missionary service. I knew that God was going to use me on the foreign field someday. Throughout high school and college, I prayed about different fields. During college, I wrote a report for one of my missions classes on the country of Mongolia. I had no idea that God was going to send us there. When Lydia and I married, we knew that we would go anywhere God wanted us. We thought that would be China. First though, God sent us to Brooking Heights Baptist Church to serve as the Associate Pastor. After nearly five years at Brooking Heights, God began to work on our hearts regarding resigning and going to the missions field. Through a series of events and time in prayer, Lydia and I came to the conclusion that God would have us to labor in the country of Mongolia.

The real question though is not why Mongolia; rather, it is why not Mongolia. Mongolia has a rich and varied history. At one time, it was the ruler of the largest land empire ever. It is a land of nearly 2.7 million people that need to know that God loves them and died for them. Christ gave us a command to take the gospel to every creature no matter the location (Mark 16:15). How will you obey the command to send the message to Mongolia. We have decided to go. Will you join us?
